Statement
In Mexico, we have a lot of cathedrals and parks in front of them. This drawing is based on the view in Moroleón, Guanajuato, Mexico. The piece represents my Hispanic culture because it shows my Mexican hometown. The red watercolor in the sky represents one of the colors of the Mexica flag that symbolize the blood of national heroes from Mexico.
Biography
I was born in Moroleón Guanajuato, in Mexico. I moved to the United States about eight years ago; the only English I knew was the colors.
