Regan Ferreira

I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the States when I was six years old. I grew up eating a lot of tropical fruit that was locally grown in Trinidad and Tobago and its rich flavors and bright colors still remain with me today and make me feel connected to my past. Deep greens and bright oranges are colors I associate with my place of birth.

My desire as an artist is to be able to capture moments and feelings through my art. I’m very interested in exploring ways to portray nostalgia and memories in a visual (and even tangible) way.
